Andrew Shiira was being held at the Orleans Parish Prison on 10 counts of pornography involving juveniles. NEW ORLEANS (BP) A student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) was arrested today (May 13) on child pornography charges. Shiira previously resigned his position on staff with the institution pending his graduation and prior to any allegations being made by law enforcement. NOBTS remains committed to cooperating with law enforcement with any further inquiries or investigations. If anyone has any information of this nature, we encourage you to notify the Dean of Students office at and Campus Police at Shiira was dismissed from the institution upon notice of the charges made by law enforcement.
